Hello|Hola
I am a mother, a wife and daughter of working-class immigrants who came to America because they believed deeply in democracy and opportunity. I was born and raised on the eastside of Columbus where my family still lives today. My love for this community inspires me to raise my own daughters in the same neighborhood where I grew up.
Like so many in our city, I had to quickly learn to navigate systems that were not built for me or my family's needs. I have dedicated my life's work to looking for new ways to provide access and opportunity to all, understand how to change systems so they work for everyone and bring all voices to the table to work collaboratively to address the needs of those who too often can get left behind.
As a member of the Columbus City Council I look forward to working in partnership with you to continue to strengthen our city and to keep the needs and opportunities of our families and people at the center of our growth as a city. I know that the challenges that we face as a community can be addressed if we empower everyday people like you and me.
